Paul H. Duvall was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois. He is admitted to the bar in Illinois and California and before the U.S. Court of Military Appeals, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth and Seventh Circuits. He received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Cornell College and his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law. He is the former Note and Comments editor for the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. Mr. Duvall served as a clerk to the Honorable Howard B. Turrentine of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. He is a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, Pacific Region and a frequent speaker on employment topics for a variety of institutions, including the Council on Education in Management. Mr. Duvall co-authored Open Courts in California. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Sections of the San Diego County and American Bar Associations. Mr. Duvall is a board member of the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program. He was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Duvall's practice areas include all aspects of labor and employment law including, immigration. |
