Careers at King & Ballow

King & Ballow has grown the old-fashioned way…one lawyer at a time. King & Ballow believes a law firm is no better than the lawyer assigned to your case.

You are selective when engaging a law firm and King & Ballow is selective in the hiring process to ensure you will receive the highest quality of legal work from every member of our firm.

We focus our attention on attracting the best attorneys by exclusively recruiting those who have served a federal judicial clerks.  We find former federal clerks are more experienced, committed, and mature than the norm and make much better attorneys.  These attorneys have already been subjected to a high level of scrutiny in the process of winning and federal judicial clerkship, and this helps King & Ballow strengthen its selection of applicants.

We also offer opportunities to attorneys who have not served a federal judicial clerkship.  These opportunities are offered in the form of a contract attorney position for a period of one year.  The purpose of this program is to give other attorneys an opportunity to gain experience much like the federal clerkship.  Attorneys with excellent academic records are eligible for a contract position.
