Ashlee
Ellis is an attorney in the Litigation Section of King & Ballow in
Nashville, Tennessee.
Ms. Ellis earned
her law degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of
Law, where she received the CALI Award for Excellence in Conflicts of Law
and was a member of the Law Review.
She received her undergraduate degree in College Scholars from the
University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is an alumnus of the Fund for
American Studies’ Engalitcheff Institute on
Comparative Political and Economic Systems, Georgetown University,
Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining
King & Ballow, Ms. Ellis practiced law in Memphis, Tennessee
with Glankler Brown, PLLC. She is a former deputy finance director
for the Tennessee Republican Party, and is
currently an allied attorney with the Alliance
Defense Fund.
Ms. Ellis
concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, corporate and
commercial litigation, First Amendment law, municipal defense, and
bankruptcy law (creditor/trustee rights).
She is licensed to practice in Tennessee.
