Dorothy
L. Starnes is a partner in the Tax Section and practices primarily in the
areas of pension law and employee benefits law.
Formerly, Ms. Starnes practiced in Syracuse,
New York. Ms. Starnes
previously served as a federal district court law clerk for the Honorable
Robert M. McRae, Jr., in the U.S. District Court, Western District of
Tennessee.
Ms. Starnes graduated from Memphis
State University

of Memphis) Cecil C.
Humphreys School
of Law where she was a member of the Law Review as well as articles editor.
