Eugene R. Long,
Jr. is an attorney in the Labor and Employment, and Litigation sections of
King & Ballow in La Jolla, California.
Mr. Long received
his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was
active in the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Clinic. Following law school, he served as a
criminal prosecutor in Chicago,
where he prosecuted a wide range of offenses. In California,
he practiced with a labor and employment boutique firm prior to joining
King & Ballow. He earned his
Bachelors’ degree with academic distinction from the Virginia
Military Institute, with a major in International Studies. Following graduation from the Virginia
Military Institute, he served as a U.S. Army Military Police Officer on
active duty in Korea, Germany,
and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Mr. Long is
admitted to practice in California and was
previously admitted to practice in Illinois.
