Howard
M. Kastrinsky is a partner at King k Ballow. He received
his undergraduate degree from Cornell
University and his law degree from
the University
of North Carolina,
where he graduated with honors. He was a member of the University of North
Carolina Law Review and Order of the Coif. He
was the author of "Superseniority for Union
Stewards Held as Violation of the National Labor Relations Act," 55
University of North Carolina
Law Review 289. Mr. Kastrinsky is a former trial attorney for the National
Labor Relations Board.
Mr. Kastrinsky's practice concentrates in all
phases of labor and employment law. He is a member of the Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations.
Mr. Kastrinsky is admitted to practice in Tennessee and North Carolina and
before the U.S. Courts of Appeal in the First, Sixth, and Seventh Circuits.
Mr. Kastrinsky regularly speaks on subjects including union organizing, the
Family and Medical Leave Act, wage and hour law, and sexual harassment. He
has written several publications for King k Ballow on the Family and Medical Leave Act, National Labor
Relations Board procedures, and the National Labor Relations Act.
Certifications of Specialization are available to Tennessee lawyers in
