OVERVIEW

As the United States economy becomes increasingly enmeshed in global markets, employers are confronted with an ever-increasing number and variety of immigration-related issues. Yet, the courts and the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) provide employers only minimal guidance in negotiating a slalom course of immigration laws, rules, and regulations affecting this country's work places.

King & Ballow works with corporate clients in providing counsel and representation before the USCIS in matters involving the processes of both lawfully bringing foreign workers into this country, and sending U.S. personnel to foreign lands to provide assistance and expertise. The firm's attorneys not only know the ways and means to obtain the most appropriate forms of visas for such employment-based needs, but also provide its clients "preventive maintenance" on issues concerning the proper documentation of immigrant workers, and avoidance of related problems such as document fraud, document abuse, and various forms of prohibited discrimination based on national origin and citizenship status.
